Power adapter-A power adapter, also known as an AC/DC adapter, is an external switching power supply.Power adapters are widely used in various electronic devices that require power but do not include internal components to obtain the required voltage and power from themselves.

AC input voltage-Our power adapter has an input voltage range of AC 90Vac to 264Vac.The nominal input voltage range is 100Vac~240Vac.Different countries have different voltage systems. For example, in the United States, household voltage is usually AC 110V, while in European countries, the voltage standard is AC 220V or 230V.

Communication input frequency-The usual frequency value is 50Hz or 60Hz, and a tolerance of ± 2% is acceptable within this range.ourPower adapter in ChinaThe communication input frequency ranges from 47Hz to 63Hz, which can meet the requirements of various parts of the world.

AC Inrush current -Also known as input surge current. It is the maximum input current of the power adapter when the electrical device is first turned on.When designing power adapters, engineers should ensure that short-circuit protection responds quickly to short-circuit faults, but should not be interrupted during surge currents.

Aging-Aging testing simulates the real environment of a power adapter working at full load to check for quality issues. The power supply should be aged for 4 hours.Conducting aging testing is one of the most effective methods to ensure stable quality of power adapters.

Energy Efficiency -It is about the requirements for power consumption under no-load conditions and the average effective efficiency of external power adapters. The United States needs to meet DOE VI requirements, while Europe needs to meet ERP testing reports.Australia needs to meet the Australian GEMS.

ESD——The static discharge of the power adapter. It is a sudden current flowing between two charged objects caused by contact.Usually, the air discharge standard for our power adapters is 8KV, and the contact discharge is 4KV, such as our high-quality ones24V 2a power adapter.

Hipot (dielectric withstand voltage)-This is an electrical test for power adapters, used to check the effectiveness of insulation. It is one of the main methods for testing the functionality of power adapters. Our usual product testing standards are 3000Vac/10mAMax/60 seconds, and 3300Vac/5mAMax/3S.

Overcurrent protection-Overcurrent is a large current in a power adapter. It may cause high temperatures or lead to fires, thereby damaging equipment.Fuses are widely used to protect circuits from overcurrent damage.

Overvoltage protection-When the voltage in the power adapter exceeds the required voltage, it is more likely to be damaged and cause safety issues.Filters are used in power adapters to prevent this situation from occurring.

Working temperature-This is the temperature at which the power adapter can operate. The power adapter can operate effectively within this temperature range.Professional power adapter and battery charger manufacturerThe working temperature of the power adapter provided by AlrightpowerFrom 0 ℃ to 40 ℃.If the power adapter is used outside the temperature range, it may not function properly.

Short circuit protection-A short circuit is when the load on the power adapter exceeds its capacity. In the event of a short circuit, if there is a short circuit protection, the power adapter will immediately shut down and resume normal operation after the short circuit is resolved.

Ripple-The residual periodic variation of the internal self current voltage in the power adapter.Ripples are a waste. It will bring many negative impacts. It may heat up the components and cause noise.Usually, we try to ensure that the power adapter has low ripple.Usually, our power adapters are measured using a 20MHz bandwidth oscilloscope, which outputs a 0.1Uf/50V ceramic capacitor and a 47Uf/50V electrolytic capacitor in parallel.(Tested under rated input and output conditions)

Safety standards-Safety standards are different standards in various countries. For example, the United States requires UL FCC, Europe requires CE, Japan requires PSE, China requires CCC, and the Korean market requires KC.When selecting a power adapter, please ensure that it complies with relevant safety standards. This is a guarantee of quality.
